AAM Studio
Most video call apps were made for meetings. AAM Studio is the lesson room we built for music, where every All Around Music lesson takes place, in your web browser or the All Around Music app.
Made for music lessons
- Every lesson is recorded automatically and plays on that lesson's practice note for 10 days, so students can rewatch the tricky parts.
- A shared notebook. The teacher writes, adds sheet music and marks up pages during the lesson, and the student's copy follows along.
- A metronome and tuner built into the notebook.
- Piano Mode adds a second camera, so the student can see the teacher's face and hands at the same time.
- Screen sharing for sheet music, videos and apps, and a lesson chat for links and files.
- Sound settings made for instruments and voices, which we keep improving with our teachers and families.

Open AAM Studio from your dashboard or the link in your lesson email, in the web browser on a computer or tablet with nothing to install, or in the All Around Music app for Windows, iPhone, iPad and Linux. Mac and Android are coming soon. See Downloads & Support.
After every lesson
The practice notes, sheet music, notebook pages and recording land in the student's portal, organized by lesson date. Notes stay for good, and recordings stay for 10 days after the lesson.

Do I need Zoom or another app for lessons?+
No. Every All Around Music lesson takes place in AAM Studio, in your web browser or the All Around Music app, from your dashboard or the link in your confirmation email.
What should an online music lesson platform have?+
Sound and video set up for music, a way to share and mark up sheet music during the lesson, and a recording to practice from afterward. AAM Studio has a shared notebook with a metronome and tuner, Piano Mode for a second camera on the hands, screen sharing, and every lesson recorded.
Can I watch my lesson again?+
Yes. Every lesson in AAM Studio is recorded, and the recording stays in your portal for 10 days after the lesson.
Which devices work with AAM Studio?+
A computer or tablet with a camera and microphone, in an up-to-date web browser or the All Around Music app for Windows, iPhone, iPad and Linux.
What happens to the notebook after the lesson?+
The notebook pages from each lesson stay in the student's portal with that lesson's practice notes, so they can practice from them at home.
